Write copy for webpages, apps, and other digital experiences including: headlines, body copy, CTAs, nav and booking flow labels, and error messages.
Case study: Virgin Voyages landing page
Most users only read 20% of the text on a web page. That’s why it’s important to not only grab their attention, but make sure every piece of copy is working hard to impart a brand or product’s unique value. As Associate Director of Content Strategy for Huge, I wrote a landing page to help introduce top-funnel users who had clicked on a paid ad for Caribbean destinations to Virgin Voyages cruise lines.
For the hero headline, I wrote “Uniquely Caribbean” to give readers a mental image of a special place, and “Uniquely Adult” to remind them of a value prop they can only get on a Virgin Voyages cruise. Other copy such as “Depart from Miami, arrive in vacation nirvana” accomplishes similar goals of imparting necessary info while drawing in top-funnel dreamers.
